My blogging has been a bit few and far between this week. I've been away at a conference and went to see my beloved Florence and the Machine live in Sydney. Wow - what a live performance! She was fantastic - so energetic and her voice is amazing! I highly recommend checking her out - even if you aren't a fan of her music - she is one of the most brilliant performers I've ever seen. Ever.
My friends and I stayed in Newtown and then went for a yummo breakfast and did some shopping on Saturday. For those of you who don't know Sydney very well, Newtown is an off-beat, artsy, funky suburb of Sydney. It's very close to Sydney University, so lots of students live and hang out there. I love Newtown! I could totally move there. The shopping is fantastic - lots of funky clothing and homewares stores as well as vintage shops and cool cafes.
Sorry the photos aren't clearer! Something dodgy with the setting on my camera.
As mentioned, there are some great homewares stores in Newtown. Check out my purchases!
The pretty papers are for some new projects I'm working on for my etsy shop. The Babushka dolls are actually measuring cups too! I'm going to use these when I finally (!) renovate my kitchen. What do you think?
The measuring cups are cool!!
